About Wayne Nichols

Wayne Nichols is an acclaimed Australian comic book artist known for his dynamic artwork on titles for Marvel (Incredible Hulk, Exiles), IDW (Orphan Black, The X-Files), and Dark Horse (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed).

In 2008, Wayne concepted and pencilled the 4 issue comic series Afterburn for Red 5 Comics, now a Hollywood film starring Dave Bautista and Samuel L. Jackson.

Based in Brisbane, Wayne also works across concept art, storyboards, and commercial illustration for Australian and International clients such as Disney, DC, Upper Deck Entertainment, and Earache Records. In addition to his visual art, Wayne is an avid musician and released his debut metal EP under the name Tempus Aeternum in 2025.
